All teenagers should read this book. Such a great story told with humor, love and care. I didn't want to put it down, it captured me and brought me back to being 15 again. I think most of us would be able to relate to one or more of the characters in this book. It sheds light on perception vs. reality, and helps identify the challenges you might face at an age where self esteem is still being developed. I can't wait to read the sequel!Product details

I love the plot out this book and it had me hooked from page 1 (here comes the but) but, I didn't like how the word Love was being tossed around. If they think like that forever they'll be married and divorced so many times Hollywood couples couldn't compete. Other that, I'd totally recommend this book. )
It was enjoyable reminded me of high school, it was enjoyable. I would recommend this to any high schooler. It had a good message about suicide prevention.
This is a great story for young teens about the trials and tribulations of high school. It realistically details the challenges of first love, bullying and a host of other problems high schoolers face. You will end feeling close to the characters after the ups and downs they experience.
This book is like nothing I have ever read before - the story moves fast and is told from all the main characters point of view, with only just enough detail of the environment to tickle the imagination resulting in a very immersing experience. Easy to read, and hard to put down.
Although it's been years since I was a teen, I read the book and have to say that I loved it.
It was a wonderful story that had me hooked very quickly. I especially like the way we get to see things from different perspectives and found the dialogues in the book intriguing.
The story line of the book was very touching and relevant. And there were some very cool words of wisdom in this book that I wish I had known, when I was younger.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story... not just teens!

This story had potential, but it was like I was reading a first draft. First of all, there were issues with POV. The author did much more telling than showing, and there was so much backstory that it made the read a bit boring. I found myself skipping sections and sifting to find a place in the story I was interested. The dialogue was contrived and stiff. My suggestion? Find a good editor.
The first book in the Larva High School series introduces the main characters Sara, Amber, Josh, and Ben and their friends. The teens are typical high school students who face different and sometimes difficult problems with friends, parents, home work, and dreams about the future. The entertaining story is a fun a quick read for all teens and their parents who may just learn something new about how their teenage kids think and manage problems. The book presents creative techniques that both teens and parents can use to navigate the sometimes confusing and hormone-driven high school years.
